Jaco Kroon

Jaco has completed his BSc.Hons (Computer Science) at the University of Pretoria in 2004. He has been employed by the department of Computer Science since 2003 during his graduate studies to provide support for the Linux servers owned by the department, and for general support to the staff. This trend was continued at CSS Tirisano, with the addition of EMC Storage devices. During 2006 Jaco was employed as a full-time software engineer developing high-tech networking systems. At the end of 2006 Jaco wrote and obtained his LPIC-3 certification, making him one of eighteen people in the world with this particular qualification.

Kevin Coetzee

Kevin is busy with his Bsc Computer Science at Unisa. He was employed at CSS Tirisano for Database Support and Managing their ERP/CRM system, and inhouse user support on their Terminal Servers and various other software. He is in the process of obtaining his LPIC-1 certification.

Stephen Coetzee

Stephen started in IT start of 2008. After completing a 4 month Linux Academy Course, followed by a 6 month Internship, he started working at Ultimate Linux Solutions. Stephen achieved LPIC-1 in May, and plans on obtaining RHCE sometime in the near future. His chief interests are clustering and virtualization.

Wayne Coetzee

Wayne is the youngest member of our group, he started working for ULS end 2008 after he achieved matriculation. He is currently studying at Unisa for his BSc computer science. He also completed the MikroTik Basic training in 2009 and is now busy learning C++

Marius Venter

After a period in ESKOM as a senior officer in the Business Strategy department of the Generation group Marius became Chief Executive of the Zamcargo Group of companies. He later started his own business and offered strategic management consulting services to companies in South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and the UK. He currently owns a company that offers a variety of services, including strategic consulting services, ISP services, and other IT and financial related services. He holds a BCom (Hons) in financial management and a Masters degree in Information Technology. Marius plans on embarking on a PHD in Information Technology.
