The Pay As You Surf (or PAYS, for short) hostspot system is 'n Wifi internet hotspot technology.
We aim to offer users some benifits over both standard ADSL as well as technologies like 3G and others:
- Wifi (No specialized equipment needed if you're close enough)
- No expiry of purchased bandwidth!
- Competetive bandwidth rates.
- Pay by Credit card (coming soon) or buy vouchers from the Node Admins.
- Not restricted to just browsing.
- No need to keep a browser window open specifically for PAYS.
- Can be used as an always-on internet connection.
If you're not quite close enough (you can see the hotspot but can't quite connect, or if you have line of sight but nothing more) we can still assist you in connecting - and even redistributing the hotspot. Simply connecting to the existing site will cost approximately R 1'000.00 (once off), whilst turning your own site into a hotspot will cost slightly more (but gain you some revenue again).
